I do think that screenshot of Driveclub to downplay it's visuals is completely not indication of the game quality though. Despite FH being an open world, It's got far great consistency overall which is what makes it a better looking racing game to me. I think the foliage does look nicer in Driveclub and it's there's much more density and think the cars do look slightly better in DC. One thing I do think Driveclub has over is I think the rain looks in particular in cockpit mode is much better hence why people tend to show the game in these conditions a lot.

The game also launched extremely barebones and got a lot more full over time. It looks extremely cool and fun to play but the actual gameplay loop was not super rewarding and the physics were love or hate.
I find the clouds and skybox more realistic looking even if it may not be as physics heavy as DC. Always felt Driveclub's actual gameplay and experience never lived up to the amazing visuals and GIFs you'd see going around. All of it adds to the visual experiences. It's also knowing that the game is far more interactive than Driveclub is, the offroading racing, smashing into various different objects within the world, far more moving objects on display. It's got better vegetation, more particles in the game, higher quality reflections and shadows (driveclub has a serious problem when it comes to shadows with plenty of flickering going on in the distances), does far more varied weather effects, much better looking water as well. (I don't even have a machine capable of 4K anyway)įrom my experiences, Forza has much better IQ by far.
